Nikko Blue Hydrangeas can tolerate full sun but prefer partial sun and shade. Morning sun and afternoon shade provide optimal growing conditions. Dig a hole about twice the size of your shrub's rootball and just as deep. Place your shrub, backfill the soil and water to settle the roots. 2.
