This collection includes one each of Lilafee, Rubrum, Elegans and Orange Queen. Varieties are labeled for ease of planting. Lilafee: Its sprays of small, lilac-purple flowers emerge in spring and attract butterflies. The bronze-purple leaves emerge in spring, aging to green in summer and turning red in fall. Rubrum: It’s hard to find a flowering ground cover with as much beauty, texture and flair as award-winning Rubrum Fairy Wings. Large, rosy red sepals envelop snow-white petals and are beautifully offset by creamy yellow stamens, creating vivid bursts of springtime colour. But where these Fairy Wings really shine is in their three-season foliage. Changing hues with the seasons, leaves are bronze-pink in spring, green in summer and bronze in fall. Makes an ideal ground cover in partly shaded sites. Elegans: Big, big style comes in this small package. Elegans Fairy Wings features dainty, yellow blooms that grow in cloudlike clusters surrounded by evergreen foliage. They effectively lighten shady spaces between trees, in rock gardens, containers and front borders. These plants are easy to grow, drought tolerant and deer resistant. Plus, they attract early pollinators to the landscape. Orange Queen: Add bursts of bright colour and exotic beauty to shadowed borders, shade-filled rock gardens and darkened tree lines. The very best shade plant provides lush mounds of evergreen foliage, which serves as a backdrop to delicate apricot-orange blooms that lure butterflies to the landscape.
