Ceramic bookends inspired by the dramatic Marseille coastline where dark volcanic rock meets Mediterranean green. Each piece captures those jagged formations through irregular surfaces and organic textures. This is functional sculpture: grounding books while transforming shelves into landscapes. The textured black forms create striking contrast, anchoring collections with geological weight. No two sets identical. Each bears unique surface variations that celebrate the beauty of imperfection. Approximately 8" tall, and 6.5" deep. Handcrafted in Marseille, France by Juliette of Céju Ceramics, who translates the raw language of her native coastline into functional art. Each piece individually formed, ensuring authentic character that carries the maker's touch—an intimate connection between artisan, material, and the elemental forces that shaped her inspiration.
