MADE IN USA - Crafted Oak by Laurel Mercantile Co. and Vaughan-Bassett. Crafted Oak is a collaboration between Erin and Ben Napier, of HGTV Fame, and Vaughan-Bassett. Since 1919, our company has been manufacturing quality wooden bedroom furniture in our own Galax, VA factory by 500 skilled Craftsmen and Craftswomen. The Crafted Oak Collection is produced from both Solid White Oak and Solid White Oak Veneer. The rustic look gives you a beautiful reclaimed wood appearance. Our products are the perfect blend of function and fashion and incorporate high-value and high-quality details that include: French Dovetail Drawer construction; Smooth running dual ball bearing drawer guides; Mortise and Tenon Construction for strength and stability; Ultra-Smooth acrylic finish on interior drawer sides and bottoms. Vaughan-Bassett replaces every tree used to produce our bedrooms through an innovative program developed with the Virginia Department of Forestry. Over the last 15 or so years, Vaughan-Bassett has planted 2 million trees.
