Just mount the ring core on the proper mandrel step that fits best, then lightly tighten with the allen key and the mandrel will produce a solid grip on the ring core. Made from high quality stainless steel. Allen key included. Mandrel is supplied with a 1/2" dia. shank for use in a collet or drill chuck.
