With a design inspired by architectural patterns playing with the repeating form of a rectangular tile to generate a mosaic, the Tile throw from the Teixidors x John Pawson collaboration perfectly characterizes the attraction of the British architect to simple constructive geometry that occurs in nature. Hand-loomed in Terrassa, Barcelona, the Tile throw is woven using ecological fibers such as merino wool sourced from France and baby yak wool obtained through combing at a nomadic livestock cooperative in Mongolia.
