The Humpback Blue Vegan Strap Our Vegan Strap collection is our first strap collection to feature 'leather' produced entirely of apple core waste, without using any animal material whatsoever. These sustainably produced straps feature a winning combination of bright colors, rugged construction and a fantastic, supple touch superior to any non-animal material we've tested. Each strap comes with our new signature cork backing. The Vegan Strap collection features seven styles of go-anywhere, do-anything straps suited well for casual or dress use. Drawing their naming inspiration from endangered species from around the globe, we find these innovative straps to be the perfect accessory for the conscientious collector who will join us in looking forward to a future in which vegan materials sees widespread usage throughout the industry. The Humpback Blue Vegan strap is produced in a deep slate blue with white stitching, named for the species of baleen whale that can weigh up to 40 metric tons and have complex social groups and beautifully haunting whalesong. In recent years, Humpback populations have begun to increase, but still remain at risk throughout the world's oceans. Handmade in Italy. As such, there will be slight variations in color and texture from strap to strap and may differ slightly from those pictured. They will each develop their own characteristics of patina with age and wear - just like your timepieces!
