Our goal was to create a beautiful as well as high performing and budget friendly series of knives, which are very sharp, light weight and also easy to sharpen. That is why this series is hand-forged only by very experienced blacksmiths. For this knife a three-layer composite steel is used which is shaped by hand before being heat treated using the traditional techniques of master blacksmiths. It is a repeated manual forging and quenching process, which results in a hardness of 58±2 HRC, thus creating the conditions for extreme knife sharpness. The elaborate forging process is finished with hammer blows for optical reasons and a hand sharpening of the blade. The non-slip octagonal handle is crafted from rosewood and is ergonomically designed so you can have long cooking sessions without feeling exhausted afterwards. This knife is best suited for cutting all kinds of meat, as well as for cutting vegetables. Due to the thin forged blade it can also be used for very precise cutting work. It is a true allrounder and perfect knife for every day use. All in all this knife is a beautiful piece of handmade art, so make sure you clean and dry the knife immediately after usage to ensure it lasting for a lifetime!
