Echinacea 'Evolution Colorific'

Capture the colours of sunset with this dusky beauty, Echinacea 'Evolution Colorific'. A flower which evolves as it matures is equally as fascinating as it is beautiful. These blooms emerge a coral-orange colour and then develop a rich pink tone as they age. Growing with a neat and compact habit, the two-tone Echinacea 'Evolution Colorific' can be enjoyed up close at the front of a border or in patio containers where its blooms will glow in a gorgeous ombre of orange and pink from mid-summer onwards. Plant Echinacea 'Evolution Colorific' in a spot in sun where it can easily be seen. Note that it is around 30cm tall and will bush out as it gradually forms a wider clump over the years. It’s a gem in a mixed border with other summer flowering perennials and easily combines with most colours. You can create a really bright display, or go for a more muted, hazy look by planting these coneflowers with ornamental grasses.
