Clearance between the back of the wheel and the attachment is 1-inch-wide. Cleaning: Wipe down the wheel with Kage Kleen or a non-toxic disinfectant wipe daily if you wish. Wash thoroughly at least once per week by disassembling the wheel and cleaning with warm soapy water. Assembly: Every wheel comes assembled and will include an assembly diagram for reference.
