CTZ Hops CTZ Hop Profile CTZ stands for Columbus, Tomahawk, and Zeus — three hop varieties that are nearly indistinguishable from one another and all descendents of Nugget. Typically used as a bittering hop, CTZ delivers an impressive bite with alpha acids clocking in at 15-17%. CTZ packs a punch of ripe citrus, dank and slightly pungent flavor, backed by earth and spice. This hop can bolster heavy hop bills, and works well with fellow "C" comrades like Cascade, Chinook and Centennial. A premier American bittering hop bursting with flavor.
