On ultralight pushes, having to make choices between weight and protection is a thing of the past - with clothing systems, anyway. Our new CSS technology, featuring stitch-free seams, renders the waterproof/breathable Specter even lighter than before while improving wet-weather performance. And at 6.5 oz., there's no reason to leave the pullover behind. Technical, minimalist detailing includes coated zippers, a helmet-compatible, roll-down Optipull hood and a deep front zipper for ventilation and easy on/off. The main zipper is offset at the chin in the opposite direction of Regulator insulation tops (pp. 44-47) for layering comfort. The pullover stuffs into its own zippered internal mesh chest pocket (now with a larger volume), and a clip-in loop keeps it handy when the rain comes. With a reflective heat transfer logo.
